My photographic interests extend from the earth into the sky.
This portion of my site focuses on wildlife imagery. The photos
found in this portion of my site represent a fraction of the
wildlife photos that I've collected over the last few years.
Like most amateur photographers that have been involved
with the hobby for more than a couple of years, I have
thousands of exposures spread over dozens of DVD, CD, HD,
and boxes of slides and negatives. The photos in this portion
of my site are not necessarily the best, but were necessarily
convenient to locate.
My wildlife photo kit used to include the Nikon D1x & D100
bodies (occasionally the F100). I've parted with the fim camera,
and replaced the earlier D bodies with a D2Xs. I typically use a
Sigma 500/f4.5 (occasionally the Nikkor 300/f2.8), Nikkor
70-200/f2.8 , and a (heavy) Gitzo 1410 with King Cobra head.
Accessories include a Sigma and Nikkor X1.4 TC, polarizer
and split ND filters, Canon 500D close focus filter, and 25mm
extension tube (for macro work).
