| M106 & NGC4248 |
M106 exposures collected the last week of June 2006 using the H9 through Astronomik LHaRGB
filters in a TrueTech color wheel on a SPX250 newt @ f4.8 using a MPCC coma corrector.
Exposure data: lum - 26X7min, Ha - 7X10min, RGB - each 10X3min binned 2X2. Initial processing
in MaximDL, LHa, RHa, RHaGB, LHaRHaGB layering and final processing in PS CS2.
This photo is a good example of attempting to much stretch for the available exposure
data....blottchy background, uneven extended galactic arms. This much stretch really needs X2
to X3 the number of sub exposures (total time). I'll double the total exosure in 2007, and try
again.
