NGC2841
The photo below is of the unbarred spiral galaxy NGC2841. Also designated as GC1823, this spiral
galaxy is located about 50MLyr away in the constellation Ursa Major.

The photo consists of 30 X 5minute (UV/IR cut) lum exposures (FOV of 10' X 7'; 0.9"/pix), made with the
H9/FLI filter wheel (binned 2x2) on the Mewlon at native focal length in 2009. This one really calls for
8-10 minute lum exposures (and just let the bright stars blowout).
